Easter break in Sydney.

The restaurant at Berowra Waters Inn was the best place I’ve visited for lunch in a very long while. I can’t even think of a better experience to top that actually, so lovely and special.

It’s amidst a river settlement about an hour’s drive away from Sydney city, and the restaurant is only accessible by a private ferry. Very cute!

seared scallop with champagne and truffle risotto

vichysoisse with salmon caviar and oyster beignets

slow-cooked ocean trout with chili calamari

john dory

foie gras wrapped with quail breast

crusted wagyu beef

meltingly tender lamb shank

poached figs/plums with white chocolate and honeycomb mousse

The food was amazing, the setting relaxed and with such pretty views. I’d like more afternoons like the one you can get at Berowra Waters please thanks :)

whoosh.

Pretty end to a very pretty day (:

We also visited Quay a couple of nights before that, and the food pales in comparison except for its incredibly good desserts. But anyway the restaurant at Berowra Waters was discovered by nom and recommended by my bro and jude. It’s only opened on the weekends for lunch and dinner and I’m so happy that we got to check the restaurant out. Do bring someone special along to visit it too!
