Had afternoon tea at the Observatory Hotel today. I’ve been here once ages ago and it was as pretty as I remembered.

Incidentally, who was the sneaky person who told me wagyu from David Jones is cheap! It was like $50+ for one portion lah. Bought the angus one instead.

I don’t do much western cooking at home so will try not to wreck the meat. Butcher dude said to cook it on medium and slowly. What the deuce does he mean by slowly? I’ll probably just salt, pepper and oil the steaks then throw em on my unused Jamie Oliver grill pan thing that I bought last semester.

Such a sucker for kitchen contraptions.
