Last night, we went out for a dessert fix at Max Brenner and somehow continued on to a late night cruising about the northern suburbs. Very awesome (:

I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve seen this many stars. It was such a change to just drive out of the city to nowhere in particular and meander about.

The coolest place that we’ve discovered though has got to be this lighthouse somewhere in Rose Bay. I think the planets favoured us, and all the magnificence possible in a single location converged to offer the most beautiful sight ever.

In a large silent field;

a brilliant and suspended moon, a sky blanketed with innumerable stars, sweeping beams of light from the tower and a sea of dark woodland before us.

It was probably the closest I’ve come to looking at the universe. Surreal, yet beautiful.

Pity I couldn’t capture the scene well.
